What this site actually does with your data.

Free guide sign-up form

What we collect:

• Email address — required to send you the guide.
• Trip timing (optional) — if you fill in the trip timing field.
• Travel Stage — if you complete the quiz on the page, your stage result is recorded.
• UTM and source tracking — the ad or link that brought you here (e.g. from=safety_start, utm_source=instagram).
• Marketing-email consent (optional) — only if you tick the opt-in box. We record that you consented, the consent version, and the time you consented, as proof of opt-in.

How we handle it: Your submission is first processed by Formspree (formspree.io), which serves as the lead record and delivers it to the site owner's inbox. After Formspree accepts the submission, the site makes a best-effort request to Ixchel Travel's Render-hosted guide-delivery service, which uses Resend to send the transactional guide email. If email delivery is delayed or unavailable, the same PDFs remain available for direct download on the thank-you page. Formspree's, Render's and Resend's own privacy policies apply to data in transit.

What we use it for: We use your email address to deliver the guide you requested — you receive it whether or not you opt in. If — and only if — you check the optional marketing consent box, we may also send one thoughtful Seoul email a week (no spam).

To unsubscribe: Reply to any email with "unsubscribe" or email is153767@gmail.com and your address will be removed.

Itinerary review application form

What we collect:

• Email address — to reply to your application.
• Trip dates — to understand your travel context.
• Travel party (solo / partner / friends / family).
• Itinerary content — the plan you paste into the form.
• UTM and referrer — ad or link source, used for internal tracking only.

How we handle it: Processed by Formspree (same endpoint as above) and delivered to the site owner's inbox.

What we use it for: Reviewing your application and contacting you about the itinerary review service only. Your itinerary is not shared with third parties.

To delete your data: Email is153767@gmail.com with your email address and the request will be handled within 7 days.

Payment

This site does not process payments directly. If your review application is accepted, you will receive a PayPal invoice by email. Payment is handled entirely through PayPal's platform. This site does not store card numbers or PayPal credentials.

Analytics & advertising

Meta Pixel (ID 4477049739173987): This site uses the Meta Pixel. A PageView event fires on the landing page (ixcheltravel.com) and on the guide download page (/thank-you/). A Lead event fires once on /thank-you/ only when a visitor has successfully submitted the free-guide signup form; direct URL access and page refreshes do not trigger it. Meta may use this data to measure ad performance. See Meta's Privacy Policy for details.

Google Analytics 4 (ID G-RJKLMLFPWL): This site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, page views, and form-conversion events (such as free-guide sign-ups and itinerary-review page views and applications) so we can understand traffic and ad performance. This includes the ad or link source (UTM parameters and referrer) that brought you here. The information you enter into a form is processed as described in the form sections above. You can limit or block analytics and advertising tracking through your browser settings. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
